Konnichiwa

Hello from Japan! Have just settled down in our hotelroom after what seemed like a round-the-world trip.We had a four hour stop-over in Beijing . A very scary place I must admit and I thought immigrations in the States was heavy, well for the extra kick give Beijing a try and we were only in transit! Well had a relatively short flight from there to Haneda.I had always heard that the Japenese were efficient but whoww! We had to take the bus to the terminal + passport control (including fingerprints and photos, learn from that Newark) + customs ,we were out in 20 minutes.
Found a lovely old taxidriver who had to get our hotel name in Japanese and then we were off and boy were we off.Took only another 15 minutes to get to the hotel which is really cool.We are now on the 14th floor and are ready to sleep now as we want to take this awesome city by storm tomorrow!
